DCU Fan Events

About

DCU Fan Events hosts a variety of events including Gift Exchanges, Prompt Weeks, and Bangs! These events are meant for all mediums and characters whether it's fanart of Superman or a character study of Huntress. As long as you follow the guidelines of the event, you are good to go!

Rules for Events/Server

1. No bullying or harassment will be tolerated. You will be banned from all future events. This includes sexism, homophobia, racism, transphobia, ableism, threats, name calling, or any other hateful and bigoted behavior. This also includes ship bashing or any other form of ship discourse. As Ye Olde Fandom Law states: Don't Like, Don't Read.
2. Use of generative AI will result in an immediate ban. You are not allowed to use AI to create, plan, or polish any fan works made for DCU Fan Events. You are not permitted to share fanart, fanfics, or other media that was created using AI on the server. 'AI Art' is not real, and nothing created using AI has the heart that real art embodies. It's computer generated slop with no place in fandom spaces.
3. NSFW content will be restricted to those 18 and older. Many events we host will have an optional NSFW addition. Your age must be verified on the server to participate in the NSFW section of events.

Anyone 15+ with a Discord account!
What kind of content is created for the events?
Fanfiction and fanart of any medium. Each event will have a different theme ranging from angst to fluff and everything in between, so both lighthearted and heavy topics can be appropriate. Most events will be SFW with an NSFW optional add on for those 18+ if you do enjoy creating adult content.
Where are the events hosted?
On the DCU Fan Events Discord Server (link the server invite here). You must have a Discord Account to participate.
Where can I find updates on the events?
Any of our social media accounts! They’re linked on the home page, but most usernames are @dcufanevents. We also have a schedule here on our Carrd!
